Customs Brokerage Manager Des Plaines, IL | $120,000 We are seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager to lead our brokerage operations in Des Plaines, IL. This role is responsible for overseeing customs entry processing, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing and developing a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional service to customers. Key Responsibilities Manage daily customs brokerage operations and entry processing. Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and company standards. Review import documentation and resolve discrepancies. Monitor team performance, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions. Train, mentor, and develop brokerage staff. Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and overseas partners to ensure smooth shipment flow. Requirements Licensed Customs House Broker preferred. Minimum 7 years of customs brokerage/entry writing experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and import compliance. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
