Full-Time and Permanent Employment - On-siteDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all aspects of export operations, including arranging bookings with transport providers and ocean/air carriers, filing required documents, and providing full customer service for each shipment.
- Process export documentation in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance to our procedures and country requirements exercising personal judgement and discretion.
- Always utilize discretion and personal judgement to ship goods using the most efficient and cost-effective route to increase margin on each shipment.
- Manage engaging vendors and suppliers, and work with procurement team on ocean and air cargo needs
- Authority to negotiate rates and make decisions pertaining to shipping vendors.
- Ensure product compliance, operating efficiency, with a specific focus on productivity, quality and profitability.
- Oversee pick up on behalf of the client/ agent as required.
- Responsible for accurate completion of airway bills.
- Manage invoicing and collection of freight, agency and disbursements from clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of Air export experience.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
