DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle all aspects of export operations, including arranging bookings with transport providers and ocean/air carriers, filing required documents, and providing full customer service for each shipment.
  • Process export documentation in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance to our procedures and country requirements exercising personal judgement and discretion.
  • Always utilize discretion and personal judgement to ship goods using the most efficient and cost-effective route to increase margin on each shipment.
  • Manage engaging vendors and suppliers, and work with procurement team on ocean and air cargo needs
  • Authority to negotiate rates and make decisions pertaining to shipping vendors.
  • Ensure product compliance, operating efficiency, with a specific focus on productivity, quality and profitability.
  • Oversee pick up on behalf of the client/ agent as required.
  • Responsible for accurate completion of airway bills.
  • Manage invoicing and collection of freight, agency and disbursements from clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5 years of Air export experience.
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
