Assists parents and students in applying for and understanding processes and rules governing the financial aid process. Performs management responsibilities to ensure compliance with the university, state, federal and accreditation agency (ABA) goals, policies and requirements. Assists with delegation of duties to cover customer service support team, resolves sensitive interactions with clients, monitors statistics on usage of financial aid electronic educational tools, and coordinates the daily appointment schedule for customer service team. Responds to student inquiries concerning financial aid programs, policies and procedures. Reviews edit reports to assist with eligibility and disbursement requirements. Sends acknowledgements and notifications concerning incomplete applications, and requests required documents or paperwork. Conducts financial aid help sessions and workshops in small and large group settings for on- campus and off-campus programs. Performs administrative duties to support the financial aid office and departmental activities. Participate In community service/outreach events. Assists with developing forms, reviewing web content, and procedure. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. %
