Job Description

Overview The Admissions Representative is responsible for assisting prospective students throughout the admissions process at Alamo City Barber College . This position serves as a primary point of contact for individuals interested in pursuing a career in barbering and is responsible for communicating with prospective students, answering questions, providing accurate information about enrollment, and helping qualified applicants complete the admissions process. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, organized, dependable, and comfortable communicating with prospective students by phone, email, and/or in person. Responsibilities Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up with individuals who have expressed interest in attending Alamo City Barber College. Assist with student recruitment efforts by identifying potential applicants through outreach activities, campus events, and digital campaigns Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries promptly, guiding applicants through the admissions process, and offering Ensure compliance with educational policies, regulations, and institutional standards during all aspects of admissions and enrollment management Collaborate with team members to develop recruitment strategies, organize campus tours, and support outreach initiatives Handle confidential applicant information with integrity while maintaining data accuracy in spreadsheets and student information systems Experience Experience in education administration or student recruitment within an academic institution setting Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel (spreadsheets), and Outlook for daily administrative tasks Familiarity with student management software such as FAME Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through speaking and written correspondence Experience working with participating in recruitment activities such as job fairs and high school career activities Knowledge of admissions policies, enrollment procedures, educational compliance, and regulations governing academic institutions Background in working with students from diverse backgrounds, providing educational guidance, or academic advising is preferred Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles that require handling confidential information responsibly Financial Aid process knowledge preferred Embrace this exciting opportunity to influence the educational paths of future students! Pay:
$40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
