Job Description

The Finance Analyst supports business operations by partnering with mine management and senior leadership. This role is responsible for core accounting activities, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, management and financial reporting, and maintaining effective internal controls. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and post accounting entries in accordance with
U.S. GAAP.
Develop and support the annual budget and monthly forecast processes. Prepare reports and supporting schedules for internal and external audits, as needed. Present monthly financial and operational reports to management. Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with finance team members and cross-functional business leaders to support operational and financial objectives. Partner with finance leadership to develop financial plans that support operational performance and organizational goals. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Relevant experience preparing reports for a variety of business stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with attention to process, accuracy, and presentation. Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Skills/Competencies Leadership Detail- and process-oriented Problem-solving Communication skills Analytical and strategic thinking Typical Physical Demands This position primarily involves working in a professional environment and requires the ability to perform standard office activities such as sitting for extended periods, using a computer and other office equipment, and communicating verbally and in writing. What We Offer This position is expected to pay $80,000 - $95,000 annually; depending on skills, experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
