Job Duties:
Develop and maintain advanced financial models for construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and variance reporting. Analyze project cost structures, labor utilization, subcontractor expenditures, material pricing trends, and overhead allocations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive management. Monitor project cash flows and support working capital management initiatives. Conduct financial feasibility studies for new construction developments, acquisitions, and capital investments. Evaluate financial risks associated with project execution, financing arrangements, contract structures, and market conditions. Assist in strategic planning, long-term financial forecasting, and scenario analysis. Support external audits, lender reporting requirements, and compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. Collaborate with project management teams to analyze project performance metrics and recommend cost-control strategies. Prepare presentations and analytical summaries for senior leadership and stakeholders. Utilize ERP systems, construction accounting software, and advanced spreadsheet modeling tools to generate financial insights. Research economic trends, construction market conditions, and industry benchmarks affecting company operations. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple simultaneous construction projects.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), Economics, or a closely related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or related field. Knowledge of Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities, using Microsoft Excel, financial reporting software, ERP systems and knowledge of GAAP.
