Job Title:
Accounting Analyst Pay Rate:
$24/hr.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday 8 AM•4: 30
PM Benefits:
Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Accounting Analyst Supervisor with daily volume, weekly and monthly reports. Oversee that the purchase order procedure is followed by the DC. Complete the 3-way matching verification for payment process of invoices. Order office products for DC and become the main contact for vendors. Facilitate the standardization of all DC's operational reports to be in line with WCD, Inc Administrative Office directives. Review staffing agency invoices. Work directly with Accounting Analyst Supervisor, Operations Administrative Manager, and All levels of DC Management. Extensive data entry projects.
Skills and Abilities:
Good organizational skills. Strong sense of teamwork. Able to adhere to strict deadlines. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce. Strong computer skills required; excellent with Excel and all Microsoft automation. Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education and/or
Experience:
2 years' experience with accounting or economics background. Some college courses in Accounting or Economics or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of DC operations.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
The work environment and physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time. Must be able to work standing up or sitting down for long periods of time. Must be able to traverse and access all areas of a warehouse environment. Must be able to work in a distribution center environment with a variation of temperatures. Ability to safely work around/with heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, scissor lifts) in a high paced environment. #IND-L
