Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial services team. The Paraplanner will support financial advisors by preparing comprehensive financial plans, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is integral to delivering exceptional client service and facilitating effective wealth management strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial concepts, legal frameworks related to estate planning, and proficiency with financial analysis tools. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise within a collaborative environment dedicated to client success and professional growth. Duties Assist in developing tailored financial plans by gathering client data, analyzing financial situations, and identifying suitable strategies aligned with clients' goals. Conduct detailed research on investment options, securities law, tax implications, estate planning, and regulatory requirements to inform recommendations. Prepare comprehensive reports, including wills, trusts, estate documents, and investment proposals that adhere to legal standards and best practices. Support the implementation of financial plans by coordinating with clients, product providers, and legal professionals to ensure smooth execution. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial software systems, market trends, and regulatory changes impacting wealth management and investment portfolios. Review client portfolios regularly to monitor performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions, transaction histories, and compliance records in customer relationship management systems. Collaborate with senior advisors on complex cases involving securities law, tax planning, or corporate accounting to deliver comprehensive solutions. Participate in ongoing professional development activities related to financial analysis techniques, asset management strategies, and technical accounting practices. Support the team in preparing for audits or regulatory reviews by ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate. Skills Strong understanding of estate planning principles including wills, trusts, and estate law. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software used for portfolio management and research purposes. Knowledge of securities law, tax regulations, and compliance standards relevant to financial services. Experience with investment management strategies such as cash management and wealth management techniques. Solid grasp of financial concepts including accounting principles, corporate accounting practices, and public accounting standards. Excellent mathematical skills necessary for detailed financial modeling and quantitative analysis. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds. Familiarity with customer relationship management systems and banking operations related to asset management. Demonstrated research skills in analyzing market data, legal frameworks, and industry best practices. A proactive approach to continuous learning about financial software updates, regulatory changes, and new investment products.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
