Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will support the finance function by assisting with financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Financial Reporting & Close Support Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports. Support the general ledger close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Help maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with internal controls and policies. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Support the development of job costing models and profitability reports. Help track and analyze production costs, margins, and pricing trends. Prepare variance analyses and ad hoc reports to support decision-making. Collaboration & Development Work closely with the Director of Finance and accounting team to support day-to-day finance operations. Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take on new responsibilities as skills develop. Contribute to a culture of process adherence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel; exposure to ERP/accounting systems a plus. Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail. Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate across teams. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships considered).
