Schedule:

M-F 8a-5p Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis Experience with accounts receivable (AR) and financial data analysis Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets) Experience with month-end close and reporting processes Ability to reconcile and validate high-volume financial data Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare finance or patient AR accounting Knowledge of net patient revenue and AR valuation methodologies Familiarity with payor reimbursement models Experience with enterprise systems such as Workday, Epic, or Kodiak Experience supporting ERP implementations or system upgrades Experience with joint venture (JV) reporting Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst III to support the Patient Accounts Receivable (AR) Accounting team within a large healthcare system. This role focuses on AR valuation and net patient revenue analysis, supporting accurate financial reporting during a high-volume, fast-paced period. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in data-heavy environments and can quickly step in to support month-end close, reconciliation, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities Analyze accounts receivable (AR) reserves and support net patient revenue calculations Perform month-end close and post-close reporting activities Validate, reconcile, and interpret large, complex financial datasets Identify trends, variances, and discrepancies in AR and financial reporting Support joint venture (JV) reporting and financial deliverables Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external reporting requirements Collaborate with accounting, finance, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and data validation efforts Maintain documentation and support audit-related requests as needed
