SUMMARY:
The Commercial Credit Analyst I is responsible for providing financial analysis, underwriting support, and credit risk assessment for commercial loan relationships. The Credit Analyst I supports Commercial Lenders, Portfolio Managers, Credit Officers, and Credit Administration by analyzing borrower and guarantor financial information, evaluating repayment capacity, assessing collateral support, assisting with risk rating recommendations, and contributing to the preparation of annual reviews, renewals, modifications, and other credit requests. The Credit Analyst I works independently on routine to moderately complex commercial credit relationships while continuing to develop expertise in commercial lending, financial analysis, underwriting practices, and credit risk assessment. The position serves as an integral part of the commercial credit process by providing consistent, accurate, and timely analytical support that promotes sound credit decision-making. Why work with us? Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and financial information. Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement interpretation. Working knowledge of commercial lending practices, credit analysis concepts, and underwriting fundamentals. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and underwriting software platforms. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Demonstrated commitment to professional development within the Credit Analyst career path.
Salary:
$55k - $70k / annually
