SUMMARY:
The Commercial Credit Analyst Associate is an entry-level developmental position within Commercial Credit Administration responsible for supporting the underwriting and credit analysis process while developing foundational knowledge of commercial lending, financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit administration practices. Working under the guidance of Credit Analysts, Credit Officers, and Credit Administration leadership, the Credit Analyst Associate assists with financial statement analysis, underwriting support activities, annual review preparation, credit package development, collateral and guarantor information gathering, data validation, and documentation support. The position is designed to build the technical knowledge, analytical skills, and professional competencies necessary for advancement to a Commercial Credit Analyst I role. This role serves as the foundation of the Commercial Credit career path and provides exposure to commercial real estate, commercial and industrial lending, construction lending, and other commercial credit products. Previous banking, accounting, finance, or business experience preferred but not required. Strong aptitude for analytical and problem-solving work. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Ability and willingness to learn commercial lending, accounting, financial analysis, and credit risk concepts. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
Salary:
$22.00 -$26.00/ hour
