Exempt Help Drive Revenue for an Industry Leader TOTE Maritime Alaska is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Commercial Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who enjoys working with data, solving business challenges, supporting commercial strategy, and influencing revenue growth . As a member of the team responsible for top-line revenue performance , you will play a critical role in evaluating pricing requests, supporting contract negotiations, analyzing customer accounts, and providing insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, Finance, Operations, and Leadership while contributing directly to the organization's financial success.
Compensation Salary Range:
$54,487 - $95,378 annually
Target Hiring Range:

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of pricing analysis, revenue management, financial reporting, forecasting, and business analytics . The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets, navigating competing priorities, and turning complex information into actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities Pricing & Account Management Review and evaluate customer pricing requests Determine pricing recommendations based on corporate costs, market conditions, and existing pricing structures Prepare contract proposals and pricing recommendations Partner with customers and Sales teams to support pricing negotiations Review customer agreements for pricing accuracy and compliance Conduct rate comparisons, pricing analyses, and profitability reviews Analyze customer accounts and recommend revenue optimization opportunities Business Analysis & Reporting Analyze revenue, expense, customer, equipment, and market segment data Prepare and maintain pricing reports and business analytics Support Flash Reports, revenue forecasts, and yield projections Participate in Surface Transportation Board (STB) tariff publications Deliver transaction-level analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders Identify trends and provide actionable business insights Operational & Customer Support Enter and maintain contractual information with a high degree of accuracy Support Customer Service with invoice and billing inquiries Investigate and resolve pricing, invoicing, and booking discrepancies Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Business Development teams to support customer and business needs Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Experience in Pricing Analysis, Revenue Management, Business Analytics, Financial Analysis, Commercial Operations, or Accounting Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Experience working with data, reporting, forecasting, and business analysis Strong communication and presentation skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting transportation, logistics, maritime, shipping, or supply chain organizations Experience with customer contracts, pricing structures, and revenue modeling Experience creating forecasts, profitability analyses, and pricing recommendations Experience working with ERP, CRM, BI, or reporting platforms Key Skills & Competencies Pricing Analysis Revenue Management Business Analytics Financial Analysis Contract Management Forecasting & Reporting Data Analysis Critical Thinking Problem Solving Attention to Detail Customer Service Communication Relationship Building Collaboration Time Management Work Environment This position is based in Tacoma, Washington and operates primarily in a professional office environment.
