Job Description

Job Description:
The accounting manager is responsible for managing the financial health of the organization. This role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Prepare and monitor the organization's budget, ensuring that expenditures are aligned with financial goals. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Accounting and Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for all financial transactions. Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collection of receivables and payments to vendors.
Tax Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns. Prepare and submit all necessary tax documents and reports. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities, providing necessary information and support during audits. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization has sufficient funds to meet its obligations. Develop cash flow forecasts and identify potential cash shortages or surpluses. Implement cash management strategies to optimize the use of company funds.
Internal Controls and Risk Management:
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information. Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and standards. Support to

Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred. Proven experience as a Financial Officer, Accountant, or similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
