FP&A Manager

Job DescriptionJob Description We are partnering with a growing advanced manufacturing organization that is supporting highly engineered products in complex, regulated environments, who is looking for a FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis across multiple Southern California operations. This individual will serve as a key business partner to senior leadership, driving financial visibility, supporting strategic initiatives, and improving overall business performance. This is an opportunity for a hands-on, high-impact finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, technically complex environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and performance opportunities Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to support leadership decision-making Partner cross-functionally with operations and functional leaders to align financial and business goals Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis Drive data-informed decision-making across the organization Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and compliance requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Experience in manufacturing/aerospace is a must Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities High proficiency in Excel and financial systems Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Experience Prior leadership or people management experience Exposure to multi-site or division-level financial support Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor or similar platforms) Working knowledge of government contracting principles Company DescriptionSavage Search Associates is a full service, family-owned recruitment firm supporting Executive Search, Management, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Construction Management, and Administrative search projects.
