In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and cost accounting to ensure precise financial records. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies. Lead regulatory reporting efforts to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards across different sectors, including non-profit and governmental accounting. Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and liquidity planning. Utilize data analytics tools to analyze financial data, develop models for financial projection, and support strategic decision-making processes. Oversee the development of financial management systems, ensuring they meet industry best practices for accuracy and efficiency. Guide the finance team through leadership in financial concepts such as profit & loss analysis, cost control, revenue management, and fiscal management. Collaborate with stakeholders on business development initiatives to identify growth opportunities and optimize resource allocation. Requirements Proven experience in finance leadership roles with a strong background in financial analysis, strategic management, and team supervision. Extensive knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, and industry-specific financial regulations. Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Proficiency with accounting systems and financial software such as Excel data analysis tools and other relevant platforms. Strong understanding of governmental accounting practices as well as non-profit accounting frameworks where applicable. Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on developing high-performing finance teams aligned with organizational objectives. Technical proficiency in financial modeling development, data analytics tools, and risk assessment methodologies.
