Monterey Park, CA Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $150,000 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Retirement plan Qualifications Financial institution investigation experience Analysis skills Policy & process development Attention to detail Financial compliance audits Risk & issue management Legal compliance Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Compliance Manager to lead our mortgage compliance initiatives.
Duties Policy Development:
Create, update, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures aligned with current mortgage regulations.
QC Management:
Monitor pre and post closing reports are completed in accordance to the required time frame.
Licensing Oversight:
Manage the acquisition, renewal, and tracking of mortgage broker and loan originator licenses.
Audit Execution:
Lead internal quality control reviews, test scripts, and operational audits from start to finish.
Exam Liaison:
Serve as a primary liaison during external regulatory examinations or investor audits.
Renewals:
Complete Investor and Agency Renewals Reporting:
Complete weekly, monthly and annual reporting for all required agencies.
Staff Training:
Manage and issue regular training programs and compliance certifications for mortgage personnel.
Key Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in mortgage compliance, lending operations, risk management, or quality control.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep expertise in core consumer protection laws, including TILA/TRID, RESPA, HMDA, ECOA, and Fair Lending.
Audits:
Proven experience in internal audits, regulatory compliance analysis, fraud detection, and financial institution investigations.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
