The Sr. Director of FP&A leads the strategic financial planning and budgeting functions for the organization, ensuring alignment between departmental goals and long-term corporate objectives. This leadership role is responsible for driving financial performance through advanced variance analysis, forecasting, and the development of comprehensive five-year business plans. The ideal candidate will provide high-level financial insights to key stakeholders to support critical business decisions and process improvements.

$200,000 to $215,000
Annually BOE Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate all financial planning and budget functions for the entire organization and its individual departments. Establish benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance and provide data-driven recommendations to key stakeholders. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budgets and forecasts, conducting detailed variance analysis. Manage the preparation of comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and long-range projections. Conduct complex financial analysis to support and guide critical business decisions and strategic investments. Partner with department managers to develop and refine five-year business plans and strategic roadmaps. Collaborate with leadership to establish short- and long-range departmental goals, policies, and operating procedures. Identify and implement process, systems, and procedural improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency. Prepare and present quarterly and annual performance reports to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Proven expertise in directing organization-wide budgeting functions and financial forecasting. Strong background in establishing financial benchmarks and measuring operating performance. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional department managers on five-year business planning. Experience in identifying and implementing financial systems and procedural improvements. Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on variance analysis and critical decision support. Advanced communication skills with experience presenting performance reports to executive stakeholders. Professional background in developing departmental policies and operating procedures.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk during the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment for prolonged periods. Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and in-person meetings. Specific vision abilities required for prolonged computer work and detailed data analysis. Occasional light lifting of office materials may be required.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $200,000 to $215,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
