The position requires strong judgment, technical accounting expertise, and the ability to manage complex financial information in a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Review and oversee the preparation and completion of financial statement engagements Analyze and review accounting records and financial statements for entities with complex ownership and investment structures Resolve complex accounting and financial reporting issues in accordance with applicable standards Review complex individual and business tax returns for accuracy and compliance Support external audit processes and tax compliance requirements Analyze financial statements, investment reports, and related documentation to identify discrepancies and investigate variances Review and reconcile capital account activity and investment balances Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards (US GAAP and IFRS) Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred CPA license preferred Bilingual skills preferred Willingness to work extended hours during peak reporting periods Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package comparable to large corporate employers, including: Employer-sponsored health insurance (PPO options available) Life insurance coverage Access to dental and vision plans Performance-based bonus program tied to role-specific objectives Competitive paid time offSimilar remote jobs
