At GA Telesis, our core business is integrated aviation solutions, and our mission is customer success. We are seeking an Accounting Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department at an aviation MRO facility. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, preferably within the aviation or manufacturing sectors, and the leadership skills to support a growing and dynamic business environment. This position requires travel between the MRO Component facility in Miami and the MRO Composite facility in Fort Lauderdale. •
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with FAA, DCAA, SOX, and other applicable regulatory frameworks as related to financial operations.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and variance analysis.
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions in coordination with the CFO.Mentor and develop accounting staff; conduct performance reviews and assist with training and professional development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, HR, and other departments to support overall business objective.
Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in the aviation, aerospace, MRO, or manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with government contracting, cost accounting standards, and DCAA compliance.

Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Experience in the aviation, aerospace, MRO, or manufacturing industry.
