Job Description

CFO needs a sharp right hand man or woman to help manage the company's accounting, payroll, insurance, benefit, and hiring functions. Plenty of training and mentoring will be provided. This is a great company with a healthy, entrepreneurial culture and a bright future. Business casual with private office in Buford. Hours are M-F 8-4 pm.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Coordinate and oversee the payroll process
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required
  • Provide financial analysis and support to management
Skills:
  • Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Proficiency in payroll processing and related regulations
  • Experience in financial report writing and analysis
  • Excellent account reconciliation skills
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to interpret financial data
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications
