Job Description
CFO needs a sharp right hand man or woman to help manage the company's accounting, payroll, insurance, benefit, and hiring functions. Plenty of training and mentoring will be provided. This is a great company with a healthy, entrepreneurial culture and a bright future. Business casual with private office in Buford. Hours are M-F 8-4 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Coordinate and oversee the payroll process
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required
- Provide financial analysis and support to management
Skills:
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in payroll processing and related regulations
- Experience in financial report writing and analysis
- Excellent account reconciliation skills
- Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to interpret financial data
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications
