An established and growing manufacturing organization seeking a detail-oriented accounting leader with strong inventory and cost expertise.What:
Lead all cost accounting functions including inventory valuation, bill of materials analysis, and standard costing to support operational and financial decision-making.When:
Immediate need due to continued business growth and increased operational complexity.Where:

Up to $140,000 base salary plus medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and generous vacation package.Position Overview:
The Cost Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of cost accounting, ensuring accurate product costing, inventory controls, and financial reporting while partnering closely with operations to drive efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cost accounting processes including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation Maintain and improve bill of materials (BOM) accuracy and costing structures Analyze manufacturing costs and provide actionable insights to leadership Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes Partner with operations to identify cost savings and process improvements Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requirements related to cost accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Strong cost accounting experience within manufacturing environments
- Deep understanding of inventory management and bill of materials (BOM)
- Proven ability to analyze data and communicate financial insights
