Job Description

Job Description A restaurant industry client of Insight Global is looking for a Product Manager to join their team. This person will be working on multiple systems related projects. The main project this person will be supporting is related to a revenue management pricing tool. This position will play a critical role in driving the 12-18 months roadmap for our restaurant operations facing restaurant modules with a focus on the revenue management pricing tool. Working closely with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, they will ensure alignment with business objectives and meet market demands effectively. This team is looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity as the project priorities change from time to time. This person is also expected to be comfortable demoing system upgrades to anywhere from 10-100 users at any given time. This person is also expected to be able to take business needs and translate them into technical requirements for the engineering teams, write stories, and manage a backlog.
Compensation:
$60/hr to $70/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.   •  7-10+ years of Product Management experience
  •  Restaurant experience/POS experience
  •  Strong understanding of Jira, Epic stories, managing backlogs, agile methodologies, and TDD (test driven development)
  •  Strong experience with systems projects that deal with integrations into systems from other applications/systems
  •  Strong API understanding
  •  Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with a variety of different internal teams/stakeholders all at once
  •  Has to be ambitious, take initiative, and have drive
  •  Comfortable with ambiguity
  •  Experience working In Backoffice systems
  •  Experience working with Par Brink, Aloha, OR Oracle based POS systems
  •  Strong understanding of Jira, Epic stories, managing backlogs, agile methodologies, and TDD (test driven development)
  •  Experience working on a revenue management pricing tool
