full-time RETS Associates on behalf of our client is seeking a Senior Acquisitions Associate in Boise, ID to support multifamily acquisition efforts across the Mountain West and Southwest. Reporting directly to the EVP, Head of Capital Markets, this role will help drive the acquisition process-from sourcing opportunities and underwriting to due diligence, investment committee presentations, and closing. The position offers significant exposure to acquisitions strategy with a clear path toward future leadership. The Senior Acquisitions Associate will build and maintain broker relationships, source on- and off-market opportunities, develop financial models, manage due diligence, prepare investment committee materials, and coordinate post-close handoffs to asset management. This individual will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities and helping shape the firm's multifamily acquisition strategy across target markets. Requirements 5-7 years of experience in multifamily acquisitions, underwriting, capital markets, or real estate private equity Proven experience building acquisition models from scratch, including IRR, equity multiple, waterfalls, and sensitivity analyses Experience managing acquisitions through the full due diligence and closing process Strong understanding of multifamily underwriting, capital structures, and value-add investment strategies Ability to prepare and present investment committee memoranda and recommendations Established or developing broker relationships in the Mountain West and/or Southwest preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field required MSRE, MBA, or CCIM designation preferred but not required Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a high-accountability environment
