Job Description
Description We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide executive-level financial leadership for a portfolio of organizations. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and governing boards, overseeing financial strategy, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, audits, and long-term planning initiatives. The role also includes leading and developing finance teams, strengthening client relationships, driving operational excellence, and supporting business growth and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and boards. + Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. + Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. + Lead audit preparation and regulatory reporting efforts. + Manage and develop high-performing accounting and finance teams. + Build strong stakeholder relationships and support business development activities. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred. + 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role. + Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and strategic financial planning. + Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor accounting and finance professionals. + Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial systems. + Preferred experience within nonprofit, education, government, charter school, or outsourced (public) accounting environments. + Excellent communication, analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
