Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial & Administrative Manager to join a growing organization in Bourne, MA. This is a hands-on role combining accounting, financial management, and day-to-day business administration across multiple affiliated companies. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of financial functions while helping keep overall business operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Manage bookkeeping and financial activity across multiple business entities Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and account reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Monitor expenses, cash flow, receivables, and upcoming financial obligations Assist with payroll processing and related reporting Prepare financial reports and information for ownership Work directly with outside accountants and other professional partners Research and resolve discrepancies within financial records Maintain organized business, financial, insurance, and compliance documentation Track important deadlines, renewals, and administrative requirements Coordinate with employees, vendors, and outside partners Improve internal processes and help create more efficient accounting and administrative systems Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, finance, business operations, or related experience Strong QuickBooks experience required Solid knowledge of AP/AR, reconciliations, general ledger activity, and financial reporting Experience independently managing the books or financial operations of a business Strong Excel and computer skills Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently Strong problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable working directly with ownership and outside accounting professionals Ability to handle confidential financial and business information
Preferred:
Experience supporting multiple business entities, payroll administration, and improving accounting or administrative processes. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
