full-time The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role leads the month-end close process, supports financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, and identifies opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role also works closely with finance and other business teams to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support business growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end close process and ensure financial statements are accurate, complete, and delivered on time Review and approve complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial activity Coordinate with accounting staff to manage daily workflows and ensure accounting tasks are completed accurately and efficiently Prepare for annual audits and serve as a key contact for external auditors Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable reporting requirements Maintain and improve internal controls to reduce risk and ensure the accuracy of financial information Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement automation where appropriate Support cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting and payment processing Prepare financial analysis, models, and reports to support business decisions Work with finance and other departments to identify process improvements and strengthen financial operations Support the implementation and improvement of accounting systems, automation tools, and emerging technologies, including AI Perform other accounting and finance activities as needed . Qualifications 5-7+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience CPA or equivalent certification required Previous public accounting experience preferred Experience reviewing accounting work and coordinating workflows preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial close processes Experience developing, maintaining, and improving internal controls Experience using ERP or accounting systems; familiarity with financial technology and automation tools is a plus Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
