The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing accounting experience, a solid foundation in journal entries and financial reporting, and strong Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyze consolidated financial information. The Consolidations Manager role is an onsite position. This is a direct hire position. Consolidations Manager Responsibilities Manage the consolidation of financial information across multiple entities and business units. Prepare and review consolidation entries, journal entries, eliminations, and supporting schedules. Oversee month-end and year-end close activities related to consolidations and financial reporting. Review intercompany balances and transactions and ensure appropriate eliminations and reconciliations. Analyze consolidated financial results, account balances, and variances and provide explanations to Finance leadership. Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and internal management reporting. Partner with accounting and operational teams to resolve consolidation and reporting issues. Apply accounting knowledge related to inventory, cost accounting, and manufacturing operations. Support percentage-of-completion accounting and project-related financial reporting as applicable. Develop and improve consolidation processes, controls, and reporting procedures. Utilize Excel to analyze large data sets, prepare schedules, and support financial reporting. Support audits and provide documentation and analysis as needed. Assist with ERP-related initiatives and process improvements; Epicor experience is helpful but not required. Learn additional accounting and consolidation processes as needed, with training available for qualified candidates. Perform other accounting and Finance projects as needed. Consolidations Manager Requirements Progressive accounting experience with a strong manufacturing background required. Strong understanding of journal entries, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Experience with financial consolidations, intercompany accounting, and elimination entries. Solid Excel skills required, including the ability to analyze financial data and build complex supporting schedules. Experience with inventory and cost accounting strongly preferred. Construction or percentage-of-completion accounting experience is a plus, but not required. Epicor ERP experience is helpful but not required. Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles. CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply; the client is willing to train strong candidates in areas where direct experience is limited. Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technical accounting areas quickly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to identify process improvements and strengthen accounting and reporting controls. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in an onsite environment.
