Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cost Accounting and Inventory Specialist to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will drive accurate cost management, inventory analysis, and financial reporting to support our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will ensure compliance with financial standards, while leveraging advanced accounting systems and business intelligence tools. Duties Perform comprehensive cost accounting analysis to monitor manufacturing expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities Manage inventory valuation, reconciliation, and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock records Utilize ERP system to maintain precise financial data and streamline workflows Conduct cash flow analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic planning initiatives Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret data insights, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections aligned with company policies Reconcile general ledger accounts, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with GAAP standards Support internal controls by adhering to SOX requirements and assisting with audit preparations Requirements Proven experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of financial concepts such as debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial analysis Proficiency in accounting software including SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other ERP systems Strong data analysis skills utilizing spreadsheets and business intelligence tools for Excel data analysis and financial report writing Familiarity with financial report interpretation, GAAP standards, and technical accounting practices Experience with cost management strategies including cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial software applications Knowledge of SOX compliance procedures and internal control frameworks Excellent organizational skills with the ability to collect data efficiently and perform detailed account reconciliation tasks Strong communication skills for preparing clear reports on financial performance and cost insights Join us in a role where your expertise will directly influence our operational efficiency!
