Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process, including financial reporting, analysis, quarterly forecasts, annual profit reviews, and ongoing business performance reviews.
- Maintain and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including fixed assets, physical inventory, and cycle count processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Develop and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics.
- Recommend benchmarks and performance indicators to evaluate business operations.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support internal and external audits, compliance activities, and internal controls.
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, analyze budget variances, and communicate key financial insights to leadership.
- Provide financial analysis and decision support for capital investments, pricing strategies, and new product initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and support strategic business objectives.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Master's degree a Plus!
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to identify trends, uncover root causes, and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
