We are partnering with a respected Columbus-based company seeking an Accounting Manager to lead key accounting operations, support financial reporting, and drive process improvements across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with strategic partnership across the business. Responsibilities Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Review and oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff Partner with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives Coordinate external audits and assist with tax compliance activities Evaluate and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies Support special projects, system implementations, and business growth initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Workday, or similar) Advanced Excel skills CPA or CPA-track candidates highly encouraged to apply What We're Looking For ?
