full-time We are looking for an Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a great opportunity for an accounting leader to help build and shape a growing finance organization, balancing hands-on close responsibilities with real influence over people, process, and controls, in a hybrid role based in Easton. Responsibilities Achieve and exceed performance, budget, and team goals Maintain a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard company assets Assist in the preparation and completion of monthly financial reporting Conduct and prepare month-end standard journal entries with supporting documentation, ensuring a timely close Monitor new product offerings, business initiatives, and efficiency projects to assess impact on existing processes and implement necessary changes Help build a capable, efficient, and sustainable accounting organization across people, process, and systems Assist in designing internal controls and policies in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Participate in cross-functional projects to drive enhancements across the broader finance function Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP Analytical mindset with strategic ability Prior management experience What Our Client Offers A genuine hand in building the accounting function's people, process, and systems, not just maintaining what exists Exposure to SOX control design and cross-functional finance initiatives Visibility into how new products and business initiatives shape accounting processes A team environment where management experience is put to real use, not just a checkbox
