We're looking for an Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, support financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and partner with leaders across the organization to drive business success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical accounting responsibilities with leadership, process improvement, and strategic business support. At Top Pot, our Accounting Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of our business while supporting our continued growth. You'll work closely with leadership to provide accurate financial information, improve efficiencies, and help guide key business decisions. What's not to love? Requirements:
What You'll Do:
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members. Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial procedures. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and financial reviews. Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to leadership. Partner with operational leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices. Experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations. Experience supporting audits and maintaining internal controls. Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with accounting systems. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial information for non-financial audiences. Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. CPA designation preferred but not required.What Success Looks Like:
