We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented financial professional to join our team as a Financial Advisor & Accounting Team Lead. This client-facing leadership role will advise up to 60 clients on their financial performance while overseeing a team of two bookkeepers. Compensation During Training & Probation Training pay will be based on experience and will range from $20-$25 per hour during the training and probationary periods. Key Responsibilities Client Advisory Review and analyze client financial reports Provide financial insights and recommendations Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning Monitor expenses and benchmark financial performance Help clients understand cash flow, profitability, and key financial metrics Build strong client relationships and provide ongoing financial guidance Team Leadership & Accounting Lead and manage a team of two bookkeepers Review bookkeeping for accuracy and completeness Provide guidance and training to bookkeepers Perform tax reconciliations and track tax prepayments Assist with bookkeeping and account cleanup as needed Identify and resolve accounting issues Company Support Assist with blog content and educational materials Participate in process improvement Assist with other projects as assigned by management

Qualifications Required:

At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience within the last 10 years Strong accounting and business financial knowledge Proficiency in QuickBooks Online Excellent communication and client relationship skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities Positive employment history and professional work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

Leadership or bookkeeping team management experience Financial advisory or consulting experience Construction or home-service accounting experience Experience with ServiceTitan, HouseCall Pro, Hubdoc, or LivePlan Training & Probationary Period 320-hour training period covering essential systems, processes, and job responsibilities 90-day probationary period , during which training will take place Successful completion of training and demonstrated competency required for continued employment Additional Requirements Successful background check and drug screening Ability to maintain client confidentiality Ability to communicate confidently with business owners The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who enjoys more than just entering numbers—they want to understand what the numbers mean.
