Job Description

Northwest Line JATC is seeking an experienced Office Manager / Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting and administrative operations of a growing apprenticeship and workforce-training organization. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is comfortable both working in accounting and leading people. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting operations while supervising and developing our administrative team. Responsibilities include banking and reconciliations, accounts payable and receivables, collections, month-end processes, payroll and benefit administration, financial documentation and reporting, internal controls, and oversight of office workflow. The position will work closely with the Executive Director and provide reliable financial information to support organizational and Trustee decision-making. We are looking for someone who brings: Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience, including reconciliations, AP/AR and financial reporting. Experience with payroll and employee benefits administration. Demonstrated ability to supervise, organize, and manage an administrative team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate financial records. Sound judgment when handling confidential financial and personnel information. The ability to establish processes, hold people accountable, and improve office efficiency. Clear, professional communication and the ability to work with employees, vendors, Trustees, contractors, and outside professionals. Experience in apprenticeship or the electrical construction industry is helpful but not required.
