This position partners closely with Accounting, Operations, and Project teams to manage project budgets, track costs, and provide timely financial insights that drive strong decision-making and project performance. Responsibilities Project Budget & Financial Management Set up, maintain, and manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle Accounting & Reporting Support Assist the Controller with the month-end and year-end close related to project accounting Prepare project documentation and reconciliations to support audits Help maintain internal controls related to project financial processes Coordinate project-specific pay application preparation Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure timely billing and payments Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Participate in project kickoff and closeout meetings as needed Serve as a financial resource to Operations and Project teams Support continuous improvement of project finance processes, systems, and reporting Track project costs, commitments, and change orders against approved budgets Monitor labor, material, and subcontractor costs for accuracy Analyze budget variances and clearly communicate findings to project teams and leadership Support monthly project financial reviews and forecasting efforts Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field preferred. Proven experience in project finance or a similar role within a corporate environment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data clearly and accurately. Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present financial insights confidently. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
