Finance Procurement Specialist - Administration and Finance (REVISED)
POSITION DETAILS
- REVISED- The CUNY School of Medicine (CUNY SoM), located in Harlem, is the only medical school within the City University of New York system and the only public medical school in Manhattan.

requirements contracts. + Promote and encourage utilization of MWBE, SDVOB, and SBE vendors in accordance with University and State regulations; ensure proactive MWBE outreach and documentation for all applicable solicitations. + Resolve issues related to unacceptable, late, or damaged goods or services. + Collaborate with Finance staff to ensure requisitions subject to GASB requirements follow appropriate procurement and payment processes; ensure accuracy in CUNYFirst and CUNYBuy. + Monitor and review the approved requisitions timeline matrix to ensure compliance with State and University procurement requirements and to support timely, effective processing. + Review and approve purchase orders (POs) in the absence of the Procurement Manager, ensuring compliance with State, CUNY, and College procurement requirements. + Demonstrate working knowledge of current CUNY requirements for software acquisitions, library subscriptions, and GASB-related procurement workflows. + Demonstrate knowledge of New York State's AI procurement policy, including risk-assessment, data-security, and compliance requirements for AI-enabled software and services. + Apply updated New York State contract thresholds and ensure procurement methods align with current dollar limits for discretionary, formal, and competitive procurements. + Demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and escalate issues appropriately. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Budget Director or designee.QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.

Salary Range:
$85,556 - $98,231 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
