Duties Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach and networking Build strong customer relationships by understanding their insurance needs and offering tailored solutions Conduct client consultations to explain insurance options such as health, life, auto, property, and commercial coverage Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients to secure the best possible outcomes Maintain accurate records of client interactions using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems Assist with benefits administration and customer service inquiries related to insurance policies Collaborate with team members on sales strategies and participate in ongoing training sessions Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients and negotiate terms Customer service orientation with a passion for helping others Basic analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend suitable insurance products Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Interest in knowledge of insurance regulations, health, life, property casualty, and commercial insurance concepts is advantageous but not required; training will be provided Experience in outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing or benefits administration is beneficial but not mandatory Join us at Barfield Insurance where your energy meets opportunity!
