Wengler Insurance Agency | St. Clair Shores, MI Insurance Sales Agent Wengler Insurance Agency is looking for motivated, outgoing, and goal-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Insurance Sales Agents. Insurance experience is welcome, but it is not required. If you are driven, personable, and willing to learn, we can help you get licensed and trained. What You'll Do As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will help individuals and families understand their insurance options and find coverage that fits their needs.

Responsibilities include:

Connect with prospective and existing customers by phone, email, text, and in person Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products Prepare and present insurance quotes Follow up with leads and prospective customers Build and maintain long-term client relationships Cross-sell additional insurance products when appropriate Meet individual monthly sales and production goals Maintain accurate customer and sales information in our agency systems Provide professional, friendly, and responsive customer service Work collaboratively with the agency team to achieve overall office goals Stay knowledgeable about available insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry changes What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Motivated by goals and earning potential Comfortable talking with new people and building relationships Confident communicating over the phone and in person Organized and able to manage follow-ups Dependable and professional Coachable and willing to learn Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team Able to work in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment Previous insurance or sales experience is a plus, but no insurance experience is required. Licensing An active Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred but not required at the time of application. For candidates who are not currently licensed, we will provide guidance through the licensing, training, and testing process. Reimbursement for qualifying training and testing expenses may be available. Compensation Base salary + uncapped, performance-based commission Our commission structure is designed to reward production, with commission percentages increasing as monthly sales increase. Agents may also qualify for additional performance incentives, including: Individual production bonuses Top-producer bonuses Team goal bonuses Additional sales incentives Your earning potential increases as your production grows.
