Your responsibilities will include:
Building relationships with new and existing clients. Learning to identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions. Helping individuals, families, and business owners understand their coverage options. Growing your client base through networking, referrals, and community involvement. Developing sales, communication, and customer service skills. Learning about insurance products, industry trends, and regulations. Collaborating with experienced agents and mentors. Following up with clients and providing exceptional ongoing service. Using technology and digital tools to manage relationships and support sales activities. Salary Range:
$40.00 - $60.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission Mon-Fri Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Requirements Insurance Producer Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus. New Mexico Property & Casualty insurance license, or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe. Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a sales-driven environment. Ability to prospect for new business and develop a consistent pipeline of clients. Professional, confident, and personable communication style. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to learn and explain insurance products, coverage options, and policy details. Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, email, and other digital tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple prospects, clients, and priorities effectively. Willingness to participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. Commitment to ethical sales practices, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for community networking and client activities. Previous insurance or sales experience is preferred but not required for candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Insurance Producer Responsibilities Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, community involvement, and other business-development activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options. Explain insurance products, coverage, limits, deductibles, and policy terms in a clear and professional manner. Prepare quotes, applications, proposals, and other required documentation accurately and efficiently. Follow up consistently with prospects and clients throughout the sales process. Meet or exceed established sales, production, and activity goals. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients. Cross-sell and identify opportunities to meet additional insurance needs of existing clients. Provide responsive, professional customer service and help clients navigate their insurance needs. Maintain accurate client and prospect information in agency systems and CRM tools. Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and applicable regulations. Maintain all required insurance licenses and complete continuing education requirements. Collaborate with agency staff, experienced agents, and insurance company representatives to provide effective solutions. Participate in training, coaching, team meetings, and professional development activities. Represent the agency professionally at networking events, community activities, and client meetings. Follow company policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and ethical sales practices. Deliver a positive client experience from the initial conversation through policy placement and ongoing service.
