Prospect for new clients through phone calls, referrals, follow-ups, and existing customer relationships. Follow up on insurance leads and quotes with the goal of closing sales . Cross-sell additional insurance products to existing clients. Assist clients with Personal and Commercial Insurance , including Auto, General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Disability, Life Insurance, and other available products. Obtain information and documentation needed to prepare insurance quotes and applications. Communicate directly with insurance carriers, underwriters, wholesalers, and clients. Follow up on quotes, renewals, payments, cancellations, and underwriting requirements. Assist with applications, endorsements, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), renewals, and policy servicing. Maintain organized records of prospects, clients, policies, and sales follow-ups. Provide professional customer service in English and Spanish . Important Requirements Strong sales skills and a sales-oriented attitude are essential. Must be comfortable prospecting, making calls, following up, and asking for the sale . Must speak and write English confidently . Must be able to communicate with insurance companies independently by telephone and email without translation or assistance . Bilingual English/Spanish required . Must be organized, dependable, professional, and able to work independently. The primary goal of this position is to help Rivas Brokerage Corp. grow by consistently generating leads, converting prospects into clients, and producing new insurance sales.
