Flexible About Tidal Shield Insurance Tidal Shield Insurance is a growing independent insurance agency based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and we're looking for the right licensed insurance agent to join us on the ground floor and grow with us. While Tidal Shield is new to the Florida market, we aren't new to insurance. Tidal Shield was created from the experience we've gained building Coastal Shield Insurance, our established independent agency in North Carolina. Coastal Shield has an eight-person team, and you'll be connected with that team through our shared Slack workspace — where we communicate throughout the day, share carrier knowledge, collaborate on accounts and celebrate wins. It's independence without isolation: the freedom to work remotely and manage your own schedule, backed by the support and camaraderie of an established insurance team from day one. Compensation - 70/30 Split This is a commission-based position with uncapped earning potential. Agents receive 70% of the agency commission on new business they personally produce, with Tidal Shield retaining 30%. A modest base salary is available for the first 1-3 months to help you ramp up while you train and build your pipeline; details will be discussed during the interview process. What Could That Look Like Annually? Using an average homeowners premium of ~$3,500 and an average carrier commission of 12%, here's an illustration of new-business earnings (agent's 70% share): 3 policies per week 156 policies per year ~$546,000 in written premium ~$45,864 estimated commission 5 policies per week 260 policies per year ~$910,000 in written premium ~$76,440 estimated commission 8 policies per week 416 policies per year ~$1.46M in written premium ~$122,304 estimated commission These are illustrations only, based on assumed average premiums and commission rates — actual earnings vary with production, premium, product mix, carrier commission and retention. This is homeowners alone; adding auto, flood, umbrella and other personal lines to each client relationship increases the revenue per client. There's no ceiling on new-business income, and the real goal is a book of business that compounds through renewal income over time. Renewal compensation and long-term book-building opportunities will be discussed during the interview process. Strong Carrier Access As an independent agency, Tidal Shield has access to a wide range of insurance carriers rather than being limited to one company — giving you more options to find the right coverage and value for each client, and more ways to close business and build lasting relationships. What You'll Do

• Quote and bind personal lines insurance, including homeowners, auto, flood, umbrella and related products
• Build and grow your own book of business
• Develop relationships with clients and referral partners (Realtors, lenders, and other professionals)
• Manage your sales pipeline and follow up consistently
• Collaborate virtually with the Tidal Shield and Coastal Shield teams
• Help grow Tidal Shield's presence throughout Northeast Florida Remote Flexibility + A Ponte Vedra Office We believe good producers don't need someone looking over their shoulder all day.

You'll work remotely and manage your own schedule, while staying connected to the team throughout the day via Slack. You'll also have access to Tidal Shield's office in Sawgrass Village Shopping Center — not a requirement, but a professional space when you want to work outside the house, meet with clients or referral partners, or collaborate in person with the agency owner.

• Active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty insurance license
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
