ESSENTIAL ROLE

Manages and directs the operations and tasks of the fleet and security staff. Maintains a professional environment and prioritizes the safety, security, and well-being of employees while also safeguarding company and customer assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Manage Security Personnel Ensures compliance with security protocols Assess Risks Train new security personnel Investigate security incidents and take corrective action as necessary Ensure that the security team is properly trained in the use of security equipment and procedures Conduct regular security audits to identify potential security weaknesses Stay-up to date with the latest security technology and trends Directly supervise mobile and static employees within operations departments Carries out supervisory responsibilities accordance with MIP policies and procedures Addressing complaints and resolving problems Rewarding and discipling employees Planning, Assigning, and Directing work Develop and maintain a positive work environment for the security

Physical Demands:

This position involves regular walking and standing for extended periods of time Some kneeling, stooping, or crouching may be involved. Ability to work outside in the elements (weather). Specific vision abilities such as visual acuity and awareness in certain situations. Involves moving and/or lifting at least 25 lbs.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

High school diploma/GED, or equivalent job-related experience Basic computer/mobile device skills Must have ACTIVE Armed Security guard license in WA State Must have own reliable transportation Strong work ethic and self-motivation Must have 2-4 years of experience in management Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to work well under pressure Ability to work Flexible hours including Days, Nights and Weekends

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE/CERTIFICATIONS

(Required!)
