Loan Portfolio Assistant 3CORE, Inc Chico, CA Job Details Part-time $19.50 - $25.00 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Writing skills Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Loan Portfolio Assistant to join our small business team. In this role, you will support the management and administration of loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and delivering exceptional customer service.
Example of Duties:
Loan servicing, including but not limited to: - Maintenance of databases for all loans funded through 3CORE, and - Maintenance of loan files to ensure proper loan servicing. Servicing will require job creation tracking, insurance requirements, site visits, and perfecting collateral as per loan program policies and procedures. Documenting and closing loans, using a computerized program. Assist with monitoring loan repayments and tracking delinquencies. Coordinate meetings of the Loan Administration Board, prepare committee meeting packages and correspondence. Support contractual loan management functions as it relates to programs such as the California Finance Consortium (CFC) loan guarantee and loan participation programs, among others. Perform general clerical support and administrative work, including but not limited to attending meetings, correspondence, and compiling data for reports. May require travel throughout the 3CORE service area, including but not limited to Butte, Tehama, and Glenn counties - may require travel outside of the District on a case-by-case basis.ABILITY TO
- Be computer and internet proficient in a PC environment with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related software.
- Maintain a team approach and high level of productivity needed to manage assigned tasks and relationships successfully and in compliance with applicable rules and standards.
- Independently identify and solve problems.
- Complete required tasks with limited staff and resources.
- Work harmoniously under the constraint of deadlines and sustained follow-through to achieve desired results.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- While desired but not required, related experience and/or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience should include progressively responsible knowledge of client relationship management and/or loan servicing, or any equivalent combination necessary to perform the above tasks competently and effectively.
- While desired but not required, experience with loan documentation software is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Knowledge and understanding of: - Local, State, and Federal loan programs available to small business borrowers.
