Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of the Genesis Bank Loan Origination Team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference through our signature client experience. The Sr. Loan and Operations Administrator is a blended role covering the full loan lifecycle — from documentation and funding and including general loan servicing aspects. This role assists the SVP, Head of Loan Operations and Credit Administration in ensuring department activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations, while serving as a liaison with internal teams, Relationship Managers, brokers, escrow, and title to ensure loans are fully documented and protect the Bank's interests. The role is responsible for loan documentation, general loan maintenance, as well as handling inbound and outbound customer calls. Responsible for compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations. Serve as a full-lifecycle resource across loan documentation, boarding, funding, servicing, and payoffs. Supports both the front-end preparation and back-end maintenance of commercial loans. Initiate and prepare loan documentation request (AIL) packages, including completion of the Loan Documentation Checklist. Accurately review and interpret Credit Approval Memos to complete loan documents. Work directly with Relationship Managers and Credit Administration/Underwriting to ensure all required documentation is accounted for and to resolve documentation discrepancies or obtain missing documents. Audit all loan documents to verify accuracy against the Loan Documentation Checklist and Credit Approvals. Verify all conditions of funding have been met prior to releasing loan documents to the client for execution; perform loan funding and closure processes. Perform general loan servicing duties as required, including monitoring loan system reports for required file maintenance; preparing payoff statements and subsequent releases; obtaining and monitoring insurance documentation to ensure current, compliant coverage; and maintaining a high degree of customer contact through inbound and outbound calls. Provide ongoing support for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and administrative duties. Responsible for meeting service level agreements for production, quality control, and responsiveness. No supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications & Expectations High school diploma, college degree, or equivalent banking and customer service experience. 2-4 years of general banking or regulatory experience with an emphasis in loan documentation, processing, and loan servicing; 4+ years preferred. Comprehensive understanding of general banking compliance regulations and laws. Knowledge of banking-specific internal controls required under the FDIC Improvement Act (FDICIA) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening skills, and excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of, or experience with, Fiserv Premier, LaserPro and nCino strongly preferred.
