The Home Loan Associate builds and enhances member relationships by providing support to the Home Loan department in a variety of functions. The key aspects of the Associate position include answering all in bound calls, returning missed calls, contacting referrals, taking member home loan applications, constant monitoring of inbound messaging from other internal departments, providing clerical and administrative support to the Home Loan department. The Associate will also serve in a back-up capacity to the other positions within the Home Loan department and may have other duties as assigned by the Home Loan Manager.

Duties:

Answers phone calls for new home loan inquiries and existing home loan inquiries, distributing communications to appropriate staff as necessary. Interview loan applicants to complete home loan applications over the phone. Outbound calling for new business. Consistent communication with Home Loan Consultants regarding completed applications and income applications. Makes timely follow-up contacts as appropriate to fully enhance member relationships and exceed service expectations. Assists Home Loan Manager with policies, procedures, staff resources, education, and training. Consistently seeks new information with the intent of being cross trained in all positions of the Home Loan department to provide back-up when needed.

Qualifications:

Three to five years of similar or related experience Two year college degree preferred, equivalent knowledge and experience will be considered. Strong communication skills.
