Full Job Description Position Summary:
Serves as overnight manager on duty and covers the front desk during the overnight hours. Responsible for accurately balancing the revenue and expense transactions each day at the hotel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Closes and balances all room accounts. Counts and balances cash and credit card receipts. Balances direct bill accounts. Verifies and balances vouchers. Runs a trial balance report. Investigates or analyzes out-of-balance situations. Makes adjustments or corrections to accounts as needed. Prints and distributes various computer audit reports as directed. Completes required revenue and expense reports. Prepares guest folios for Express Check-out. Balances and audits for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue, telephone revenue, and movie revenue; assists in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenue. Balances and audits for accuracy all room and tax charges, cashier's reports, and guest and house accounts. Completes and transmits daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents; prepare market segmentation report, food and beverage revenue report, and any other auditing reports necessary to ensure the accurate accounting of the hotel revenues and expenses. Communicates with other hotel departments as necessary to resolve accounting discrepancies and to request or provide information. Performs all Guest Service Representative functions as required. Makes room reservations, answers the phone, and notifies guests of messages. Balances credit cards. Prepares billing Matches invoices to Purchase Orders. Enters invoices in A/P transmittals. Researches credit card chargeback inquiries. Prepares Flash Report and emails to Corporate by 8 am. Prepares Daily Revenue Report. Files paid Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables. Performs routine Guest Service Representative responsibilities. Has knowledge of hotel fire and safety procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by management.Job Type:
