Full Job Description Summary:
Night Auditors are responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift.Primary responsibilities include:
registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions and conducting security walks. Night Auditors must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. They must also be able to problem solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to emergency situations.Essential Job Functions:
Greet guests in a professional manner as they arrive and depart the hotel and perform the check-in and check-out process with professionalism and accuracy. Answer multi-line telephone in a professional manner (i.e transferring calls and taking messages as needed). Verify credit card terminals are batched and that terminal totals match with cashier audit reports and reconcile discrepancies of charges on house accounts. Enter/Change reservation information on the computer system and post charges to guest accounts and in the Property Management System. Process payments from guests, close and balance out guest accounts by making necessary corrections to folio. Count and balance cash, credit cards and direct bill accounts and investigate or analyze out-of-balance situations and make adjustments or corrections as needed. Update Future Revenue Report and various computer audit reports. Assist clients with reservations and inquiries including, but not limited to room rates, hotel amenities, and information regarding the local area via phone, email, and in-person in a prompt, professional and informative manner. Arrange services for guests when requested by working with other departments or third parties affiliates as appropriate. Maximize revenue and cash flow by promoting hotel services, upselling room types and adhering to credit and inventory control processes. Strictly follow hotel policy regarding cash banks.Job Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States, and provide proper ID. Open Availability - Ability to work weekends and overnight is a must. Has worked with Hilton ONQ Property Management System (not required)Job Types:
