Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team at our esteemed hotel. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk during night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in hospitality management, and a passion for providing exceptional guest services. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, handling reservations and room assignments. Conduct night audits to verify daily transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism. Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests effectively. Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages as needed. Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences and address any needs. Requirements Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred. Strong guest service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit procedures is an advantage. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests. Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications for reservations and reporting. Must be able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required. A keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for this role.
