Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
Provide services to clients daily by engaging with them over the phone and in person Building customer relationships to promote and expand the business Balance and maintain accounting schedules for payroll Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments Process Payroll for all employees as assigned by clients Processing paper checks for distribution Acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll Handling direct deposit requests and data Processing wage garnishments Adjusting pay for raises, bonuses and commission Have checks signed off and approved by ownership Manage input of bonuses and commissions Handle all child support orders Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures Ensure that all processing and records comply with laws and regulations Review Payroll emails assigned to you Monitor Payroll Team and personal general email box for communication related to your work Respond to the client in timely manner Answer any incoming calls, for the Payroll Team Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions and saving deductions Preparing reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries Process 940/941 tax payments Process accurate and timely year end reporting (W-2, W-2c, 1095)
Job Skills and Qualifications:
Payroll Experience:
2 years (Preferred)
Customer Service Skills:
2 years (Required)
Out of State Payroll Experience :
1 year minimum (Required) Working knowledge of ADP Run and ADP Workforce Now, QB online and desktop, QuickBook Time In-depth knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software applications Great organizational skills, including time management and strategic thinking Strong written and verbal communication skills Keen attention to detail Ability to work independently on assigned tasks Ability to work under pressure Knowledge of wage withholding orders Good client service skills Being an effective team player Sound decision-making skills Ability to multitask in a stressful environment with specific deadlines Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Highly organized and good with numbers

Home office in Cerritos , however training will be completed in Irvine as well. License /
